The Vietnam Military History Museum, funded and newly constructed by the Ministry of National Defense, is situated in the areas of Tây Mỗ and Đại Mỗ wards, Nam Từ Liêm district, Hanoi. The construction commenced in 2019, covering an expansive area of 386,600 square meters.
Currently, the museum houses more than 150,000 artifacts, including four national treasures and numerous other invaluable items.
With its modern design and multifunctional capabilities, the architecture of the museum not only serves as an exhibition space for military history but also fosters an interactive environment, enabling visitors to explore and gain insights into the heroic struggle for Vietnam’s national independence, as led by the Vietnam People’s Army.
The Vietnam Military History Museum officially opened its doors to the public, offering free admission from November 1, 2024, until the end of December 2024.
